3D Shell Extensions v2.5 released

 While working with any 3D modelling application or game authoring tool you have created or downloaded hundreds or maybe thousands of models with names like "crate1.mdl", "crate2.mdl" or "weapon01.3ds", "weapon03.3ds" and so on. How quickly can you see which one of your 30 crates or which one of your 50 weapons is the best to use for a certain project? 3D Shell Extensions can speed up your workflow remarkably. A folder which contains 1000 models displays thumbnails for all of them in about 3 seconds!
3D Shell Extensions is the set of Windows Explorer add-ons; they enable 3D models preview directly in Windows Explorer or in any standard "Open..." dialog box. More than that, you can preview your models directly in the Windows Explorer window; just place your mouse over a model file and you will see how it looks.
With 3D Shell Extensions installed you can preview all your model files not only in Windows Explorer, but also in all the major Windows shells or file managers such as TotalCommander or XnView.
