Kelvin controlled sunlight

Kelvin controlled sunlightIf you've ever wanted different controls on the mrSun, like kelvin settings, then you'll find Jeff Patton's tutorial helpful.

In this tutorial the author explains how you can use a light shader to control the color of your sunlight with either a color swatch or shaders like the blackbody/CIE_D shaders.

The author gives interesting methods and recommendations for working with light sources, which enables you to change their properties. The author gives links to additional shaders used in tutorial and information to explain what to do in different situations.

For quick geometry the author used free procedural Building Generator by Tyson Ibele.

Given methods can be applied to any light sources.

Sunrise

After reading the tutorial you will be able to achieve natural colors of lighting, shadows, and scene objects in nonstandard conditions, for example, hot orange shades of buildings at sunrise or sunset.
