 New 3.0 version for Linux of sculpting software 3D-Coat is expected.
3D-Coat v3.0 works well with Wine, but full performance can be approached with 64-bit support. Now its engine core have been completed for Linux and developers are working at the last stage – compilation of the whole project.
3D-Coat v3.0 is available for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Mac OS.

 This hotfix repairs the problem of a crash that may occur during the Activation Licensing Service process, when launching an Autodesk® 2010 product on Microsoft Windows 64-bit platforms.

 Autodesk have released a new hotfix for Max 2010 and Max Design 2010 which addresses the following issues:
- Fixes a cursor problem in the Particle View window when using an English Max on a Japanese OS
- When saving to a custom library, bitmaps and their full paths are now saved correctly
- Fixes a problem with encrypting MAXScript files
- Fixes Wire Sub-Controllers being removed due to the MAXScript Garbage Collection process
- Various instances of actions not appearing in the Undo Stack have been resolved

 Crosswalk is a Softimage initiative to help transfer Softimage content in and out of 3ds Max and Maya pipelines using the latest dotXSI, COLLADA, and FBX standards.
