The HDR rendering contest 2009 has started! Don't hesitate - read the rules and start participating right away!
Conditions:
1. Decide for one of the categories described below - only one submission per participant will be accepted!
2. Take any of our HDRIs (free or bought) and use it for rendering a scene as photorealistic as possible
3. Be creative! No manual illumination of the scene itself!
4. The minimum rendering size is 790x300 pixels
5. Submit your rendering and the project file by December 31, 2009

OnLive founder Steve Perlman has announced that the ambitious "cloud" gaming service, which runs games remotely and streams the video to your home over the internet, is ready to begin public beta testing.
OnLive has started sending out invites to people who've registered for the beta, and registration is still open. However, you need to be resident in the US and aged 18 or over to be eligible. Initial testing will be done through PCs and Macs.
